Fish Rock Farms is a beyond organic cannabis farm tucked within sight of Gualala mountain in Mendocino County and is dedicated to sustainable and beneficial agriculture. Along with the seasonal coastal range rains, the people, the animals, and the insects that have lived on the farm- family, master grower David, our dog pack, the farm cats, birds, butterflies, and bees- are it's heart and soul.
We farm on just five of our twenty acres and are passionate about creating craft cannabis under the very best practices. Fish Rock has always been, and always will be, organic and pesticide free. We believe in creating outdoor growing environments that harness the natural growing power of the sun, build our existing soil, and allow natural predators to maintain the balance needed for healthy plants.
David is the second generation of three generations of farmers and learned his farming techniques many years ago being employed under master farmer Mel Castille in Paso Robles while still a student in high school. He used those techniques in the successful production of fruit and vegetables at Fish Rock beginning in 1978. When David, and Fish Rock, were licensed in 2016 by the Mendocino County Sheriffs for cannabis growing, he carried his and Mel's combined years of farming knowledge into cannabis.
